In previous editions we have gathered 500 registrations from 30 different countries each year and surpassed 5,000 views of our events. This year our challenges focus on creating data to build inclusive, high-quality language models adapted to the diverse cultures of LATAM and the Iberian Peninsula.
The sponsorship types are explained below. As soon as we receive your form, we will reach out to sort out the details and we will add your logo to the website.

Sponsorship types
1. 🚀 Donation
We accept monetary and in-kind donations (e.g. GPU credits, training, books, …).
Donation tiers and benefits
- 🥇 Gold, total donation valued at €2,500: large logo in first place, maximum visibility on social media, mention at events and a possible promotional article, video or talk.
- 🥈 Silver, total donation valued at €1,200: medium logo in second place, medium visibility on social media and a possible promotional article or video.
- 🥉 Bronze, total donation valued at €600: medium logo in third place and visibility on social media.
What will my sponsorship be used for?
Our hackathon is a free event. Thanks to Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorships, we can guarantee:
- Cloud compute time for all participants
- Prizes for the winning teams
- Merchandise and giveaways for everyone
- Quality streaming
- Compensation for speakers and mentors
- Smooth running of this international online event
Examples of prizes and giveaways you can sponsor: a scholarship for a paid course, access to a training platform, NLP/AI/linguistics books, merchandise made specifically for the hackathon, cloud compute time, LLM API credits, vouchers for tech stores, mentorships, etc.
2. 📣 Outreach
Outreach sponsorships are crucial: they help us reach more people, which is essential for our mission to democratize NLP in Ibero-America.
Outreach types, requirements and benefits
- 🤗 Community, minimum 4 publications: small logo and visibility on social media.
- 🎓 University, minimum 1 publication and 5 participants: small logo and visibility on social media.
- The first publication must go out before May 1.
- The logo will be added to the hackathon website once the first publication is live.
How can I help spread the word?
- Feel free to use the templates and outreach material we provide to make it easier.
- Publications can go out on different platforms: blog, podcast, newsletter, LinkedIn, X, etc.
- Important: on social media, remember to tag SomosNLP so we get the notification.
- On social media, 1 publication can be swapped for 2 “quotes” on X or 2 “reposts with your thoughts” on LinkedIn.
- You can publish at different moments of the hackathon — for example, to encourage people to join (until early April), to attend the talks (during April), and to share the hackathon results (early May).
- We appreciate RTs / comments on the publications in which we mention you.
